Making the most of my volunteering experience, last weekend I went to London to meet one of my best friends, Flavia. We’ve known each other for 23 years, it’s crazy how time flies!
We’ve enjoyed the bloomed camellias and magnolias from Isabella Plantation in Richmond Park and a stroll around a very busy central London (Paul’s walk, Tower Bridge, London Tower, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, London Eye, Trafalgar Square, M&M’s World, China Town). The time we spent together was short, but I’d say we made the most of it!
A few photos from the wee trip, below ❤
St. Patrick’s Day is the most celebrated occasion in Ireland, with parades and festivities all over the country. To properly celebrate, we went to Derry. After a nice stroll around the city and a well deserved brunch, we enjoyed the parade where we cheered over 600 participants from local schools, youth clubs, arts and cultural organisations! Wile craic!

Although we were warned that Winter will be back this month, feels like Spring is right around the corner. There is nothing more precious than a sunny day here. The city just brightens up with color & we get the chance to experience the most beautiful sunsets ever!
With less than 3 months left of our ESC volunteering experience, we are having quite a busy time. Although it seems things are beginning to precipitate, we are enjoying every activity to the fullest.
End of February brought an exciting time! I got the chance to spend a few days in Limerick. The commute was long enough, but the city was lovely – so it was definitively worth the trip!
