Hello everyone, it’s Maria G talking. It’s been a while since the last blog post. We’ve been a bit busy! In October my mum came visit and we were in Galway, I missed her and we had a great time together. I really liked Galway, and also The Burren and the Cliffs of Moher. We spent a few days in Dublin too. By now I think I’m much familiarized with the capital, as I’ve been a couple of times there already. In November I had another visit from a friend and we travelled to Belfast through Derry. We were amazed by the urban art there, and we took long walks and ate tasty food.
The days are getting shorter now, we miss daylight, but the three of us are going home for christmas so we’ll get some sunlight there. I have been working hard on my master’s degree lately, as it is online I can combine it with my work time in YIC. I am working on ECHO right now, YIC’s newsletter, and we also have had some events going on like a study visit from Czech Republic. It’s cold outside but the weather is not that bad (yet). We’re getting ready for Irish winter! Christmas lights are all over the town and I’m getting excited because I really like this time of the year. Marta and I watched Love actually two days ago, just the perfect warming up.
Here are some pictures I want to share with you 🙂
